I have been passionate about horses since I was a child. My grandfather was an Equine Vet and my Dad, who also loves riding, took me to the stables. I have fond memories helping preparing horses as a toddler on two straw bales.

I have been very fortunate to learn from great riders and great teachers. I would like to mention here: Trudy & Willy Gerber Wahl, who took the patience and gave me a very thorough education in basic and classical riding skills. Georg Wahl senior, Oberbereiter Vienna Riding school and former Swiss Dressage Team trainer, One of the greatest horseman and instructors of his time.Marcela Krinke Susmelj, Swiss Olympic Dressage Rider and multiple Swiss Champion who was brilliant in teaching me finesse and techniques. João Torrão (@joao.torrao), Portuguese Olympic Dressage Rider and world record holder in GP, GPS and Freestyle on an Iberian horse. He introduced me to the Lusitano Breed, made me fall in love with them and has taught me everything about riding with minimal aids, lightness and effortlessness.

I hold a degree in Special Needs education and I have taught children up to grade 6 for 15 years before I took a chance and went to work as a Head-Instructor, Stable Manager and Rider at the prestigious Herdade do Monte Velho (@equoresort) in Portugal with Lusitanos.

I was born and raised in Switzerland and I have lived in the US and in Portugal. I am fluent in German, English and French and I speak Portuguese.
